NSGF, ACF, APC Commiserate With Sambo Over Brother’s Death

The All Progressives Congress, APC, and Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, have condoled with Vice President Namadi Sambo on the death of his younger brother, Capt. Sabo Sambo, in an auto crash along the Abuja International Airport road, Sunday.

Also, the Northern States Governors Forum, NSGF, has consoled Sambo over the death, asking him to take heart and be strong as God gives and takes life at His own will.
In two separate statements yesterday, both the APC and ACF expressed shock and sadness at the death of such a vibrant personality in such a tragic circumstance.

The APC in a statement in Lagos, yesterday, by its Interim National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said: “Death is never easy to accept, and when it is so unexpected it adds to the grief. But the sweet memories and good deeds of the departed will always be a balm to sooth the indescribable pain of death.

“We sincerely sympathize with the Vice President, the immediate family of the departed as well as his extended family. We pray that God will strengthen and comfort them all in this difficult time.’’
Also, the ACF National Publicity Secretary, Muhammad Ibrahim said: “It was with grief and shock that ACF learnt of the death of Capt Sabo Sambo.

”From God we come and to Him we shall all return. Death is the ultimate end of each mortal, life is equally transient, however, the good deeds and service to humanity done by each person shall continue to live after him.

On its part, the Northern States Governors Forum, NSGF, described the death of Sabo as “unfortunate.”
Chairman of the forum and Governor of Niger state, Dr. Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Danladi Ndayebo urged the vice president not be discouraged by his younger brother’s untimely death, but continue to support President Goodluck Jonathan in providing good leadership to Nigerians.

The forum emphasized that although late Captain Yusuf lived a relatively short life having lost his life in an auto clash, he brought about changes not only to his immediate family but the aviation industry where he had worked as a pilot for many years.
