Bosnia-Herzegovina striker Edin Dzeko believes his side stands a good chance of qualifying for the second round of the 2014 World Cup, but is quick to admit that Argentina are the toughest opponent in Group F.
Bosnia lost 2-0 to Argentina in USA in an international friendly earlier this year but the former Wolfsburg lanky striker is optimistic that anything is possible in their debut outing in Brazil 2014.
Bosnian hero Dzeko knows he will be carrying the hopes and dreams of millions of his countrymen in Brazil and is excited about playing their first World Cup game at the prestigiuos Maracana stadium.
“We have a good chance to do well in our group and what a fantastic way to begin our first World Cup with a match against Argentina in the Maracana – not a bad way to start and a great experience for every Bosnian.
“The draw could have been better, but it could have been worse too, so I’m happy to take this. Our target is obviously to go to the next stage, but we will see.
"We’ll learn more about Nigeria and Iran as we near the tournament, but Argentina are the toughest opponent – after that, anything is possible.
“We did play against Argentina recently but that was only a friendly. You have to say, however, any team that has a player like Lionel Messi will be hard to play against.
