It’s reported Chelsea are offering John Obi Mikel to Serie A clubs for just €6m (£4.8m).
The Nigerian international midfielder has a contract with the Blues until June 2017, but is struggling for playing time.
According to Express, Chelsea are ready to sell John Obi Mikel as they look to muscle in on Arsenal's move for Real Madrid and Germany star Sami Khedira.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho is keen on adding another midfielder to his squad before the start of the new Premier League campaign, and with a £60million move for Juventus' Paul Pogba starting to look unlikely, the Special One is keen to land £20million Khedira.
Chelsea have a number of players competing for places in the centre of the pitch, including former Gunners hero Cesc Fabregas, but one man who looks set to leave is Nigeria international Mikel.
The 27-year-old started in just 11 league games last season, and reports in Italy claim he has been offered to a number of Serie A teams including Inter Milan for around £10million.
Considering the lack of interest in the 27-year-old, they have lowered their asking price to just €6m – around £4.8m.
Mikel, who joined Chelsea from Lyn in controversial circumstances after initially agreeing a deal with Manchester United, has made 206 appearances during his time at Stamford Bridge, picking up a Premier League and Champions League winner's medal as well as four FA Cups in the process.
However, his time in west London looks set to end despite his insistence that Fabregas doesn't pose a direct threat to his place in Chelsea's starting XI.
He said: "I don't have a problem with the signing of Cesc Fabregas.
"We have played against each other a lot of times. We don't play in the same position anyway."
However, there are still no apparent takers for the man who has been at Stamford Bridge since 2006.
